8/16/25: so much has changed since I last came to Oaks Parks! 💫💫 Last time I came was about 5 years ago?! 😅😊 ❤️ No entrance fee, yay! (Glad this hasn't changed!🙏).

This is the only amusement park in the Portland area, and it's been a community mainstay for a very long time. There's a fairly decent amount of rides here, and there's a carnival or county fair feel to it.

First time visiting this amusement park and it's one of my favorite 😍! First amusement park I've been to that has no entrance fee and affordable parking only $4. The tickets price is great since it grants you access to pretty much all the rides. There's plenty entertainment for everyone to enjoy.

My family had a fantastic time at this vintage amusement park, which opened in 1905. Grandpa (me) even tried a few thrill rides for the first time in many years—Tilt-A-Whirl and Scrambler and survived! The bumper cars were a blast as well. The grandkids, ages 11 and 8, were in Nirvana at the Oaks.

Birthday parties at Oaks Amusement Park

Oaks Amusement Park hosts birthday parties — confirmed on their own site. Go-kart parties usually come with a dedicated host who runs the races, sorts everyone into heats, and handles setup and cleanup — so parents can mostly watch the racing. Packages typically bundle a set number of races with a party room, pizza, and drinks, and many tracks put younger guests in junior karts. One thing to plan for here: a signed waiver is required — send the track's waiver link to the other parents with the invites, or check-in day gets slow. Packages, party rooms, and pricing change often, so check the current options and book ahead — weekend slots go fast at popular tracks.

Junior karts at Oaks Amusement Park

Reviews and the track's own info mention junior or kid-sized karts at Oaks Amusement Park — lower-speed cadet karts, junior sessions, or height-based karts, usually for ages around 5–8. Age and height requirements change often, so check the current rules before you plan a trip around one.

Group & corporate events at Oaks Amusement Park

Oaks Amusement Park is mentioned for group and corporate events — team building, work outings, bachelor and bachelorette parties, or big-group racing. Tracks that run these usually offer private track time and package pricing for larger crews, and a host to keep the races moving. Availability and group minimums change, so call ahead to lock in a date and get a quote for your headcount.
