My son wanted to celebrate his 12th birthday at K1 and he had a blast! It started off with a glitch with being told we could do a walk in but a reservation was what we really needed but it worked out in the end and everyone left with a smile on their face.
This would have been a 5 star but they only had one track open so the wait time was really long. Other than that is place is really fun. They added a bar area, so now you can drink and drive lol. While you wait for your drive time you can place pool, or some arcade games. This is a fun activity for all ages.
We booked through Groupon, which helped save a bit compared to regular pricing. Even with a reservation, it was quite busy, so there was still a check-in process at the front — but everything was organized and moved reasonably well given the crowd.
My daughter had a blast. She was tall enough to race with the adults. They made sure she had all the info, (first time) and made sure she was ok any time she hit the wall or spun out. She quickly got the hang of it. We waited maybe 10 min for the first race and she was able to do back to back races after that.
